Enriching Academics Through Sustenance

What is E.A.T.S. !?

(Enriching Academics Through Sustenance)

Each year in early March, Cook County Schools Education Foundation hosts E.A.T.S., an event created around community and local flavors! To date, over $200,000 has been granted directly to ISD-166 teachers and students, and we aren't slowing down there!

Experience the ultimate culinary celebration during this festive evening as the school hallway transforms into a vibrant multi-dining extravaganza! Historically, around 15 local eateries, along with the High School's Culinary Arts students are on hand, offering samples of their best dishes for you to enjoy.

Take part in our popular silent auction of quality items generously donated by local businesses and individuals. This past year we had over 100 high quality items, from gift certificates, activities (think zip-lining and saunas), woodworking, handmade crafts, and other unique offerings!

Mingle with fellow supporters of the Foundation while enjoying live performances from the ISD-166 Choir, Band, and other talented local musicians.

Best of all, 100% of the proceeds from entry tickets and the silent auction go directly toward supporting educators and students within the school by funding grants offering unique experiences for students through innovative instruction and co-curricular programs which go byond funding able to be provided by ISD 166 or other sources.

Stay tuned for 2026's date!
